I have been leading hunting dogs since 1987, I have been breeding hunting dogs in the JGHV/DTK/VDH/FCI since 1991
and since 2007 I have been leading this wonderful breed of Swiss Hounds for hunting with great enthusiasm.
Since 2009 I have been breeding Swiss Hounds in the kennel “von der Ilkahöhe (FCI)”. 

 I am a member of the JGHV/DTK/VDH/FCI, the KJS/DKK/NKU/FCI, the DGK/DKK/NKU/FCI and the KSL/ÖKV/FCI.
My Swiss Hounds receive the official DKK/FCI papers.

My Swiss Hounds are trained for hunting and have been proven useful for hunting through recognized tests such as VSwP,
VstP. BP, LN of the JGHV. In 1996, I trained my dachshund “Jana vom Katharinenhof” not only to become
the working champion but also to become the International FCI Working Champion with a CACIT in Austria
and a CACIT in Germany. You can read about various awards and successes of my breeding at:

My SNLH are therefore regularly used in driven hunts and tracking. (over 500 DJ missions since 1994) My FCI breeding
of Swiss Hounds "von der Ilkahöhe" stands for the breeding of healthy, stable, efficient and beautiful hunting dogs.
They have proven this many times at numerous international FCI exhibitions. Hunting is very important to me as a breeder
of Swiss Hounds and Dachshunds. After obtaining my hunting license in 1994, I trained as a DTK working judge and
in 2003 I became a association hunting judge for the JGHV. In 2007 I completed my forestry studies with
a diploma in forestry at the oldest forestry academy in Germany in Eberswalde in the state of Brandenburg.

As a passionate hunter, I live in a beautiful area rich in game with red deer, roe deer, partridges, hares and other small
game in the middle of a nature reserve on a property of over 15,500 square meters with old trees.
I attach great importance to giving my puppies an early hunting experience.  Every walk, no matter how short,
begins and ends in the middle of the area.
